I teach 9 yeras old and we use a game in which students have to write five things into 5 different stars. They should write one word, name or number. That info should be about them. Then, one kid comes to the front writes his/her information on the board and the rest tries to guess what that information referes to Eg. 38 - John - 4 - hockey - Rosario (This is the info I wrote in my stars) The kids will ask questions like. Do you like playing hockey? Are you 38 years old? Did you go to Rosario on your holidays? Whatever. The idea is for Students to introduce themselves in an amusing way.
