I agree on the word �runner-up � for the person who comes second but, correct me if I �m wrong, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Lebron James are all basketball players (it �s not my sport but I know that much!)- napster asked about baseball.
Baseball is even less of my sport but a trip to google came up with this link:
