							| Thank you for your help. I thought so, but when I checked the usage of them in Oxford Advanced Learner �s Dictionary I found that come across is used as follows: come across sb / sth. I also found an example in which come across is followed by an object denoting a person. |  14 Mar 2011

 BUT to bump into sth: to accidentally hit against sth
