							| Hi, dear friends!
I have a question concerning grammar: is it possible to say "I dress myself. I wash myself"? Or the pronoun "myself" isn t used in this expression? Thanks for your help. | 20 Mar 2011

							| Hi, Yes the pronoun myself is used in the examples you gave. To answer a question like "Who dresses you? or Who dressed you?" The answer could be  "I dress myself." or "I dressed myself." (My son would often say this when he was young.) Re: wash myself, an example could be "I had to wash myself when I saw the ink on my face." Hope this helps. Have a great day! | 20 Mar 2011

							| They are called reflective nouns ( or pronouns) because they reflect back to the first noun. In this case - myself reflects back to I.
