I choose to teach my students popular songs which they might also listen on the radio. Try "I am sailing" by Rod Stewart or "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Check the lyrics first, mind that there shouldn �t be anything obscene in them.

There �s the classic one that goes "I �ve been everywhere, man..." and then lists a whole load of places. There are so many different versions of this (originally Australian) song that I reckon the best thing to do is point you to the Wikipedia entry:
