I need to know which sentence is correct here it goes:
I think everybody at any time in OUR life, are or were influenced by someone else.
I think everybody at any time in its life, is or was influenced by someone else.

Hello, Urpi, Actually, neither of those is correct, since "its" refers to things, not people. I think everybody in his life is or was influenced by someone else. or I think everybody in their life is or was influenced by someone else. Both of these are correct, but "their" is becoming more common. Another option is I think everybody in his or her life is or was influenced by someone else. Bruce |
