							| be rolling in it  (informal) - Could be that idiom used in other tenses or just in present continuous? couse it is a set phrase and mustn t be changed?
He was rolling in it  last year.
He rolled in it last year.
or just HE IS ROLLING IN IT last year????

							| I would only use it in the present or past continuous forms.   He is rolling in it. Last year he was rolling in it.   Douglas | 22 Mar 2011

							| I think no matter which tense is it, we should use the verb TO BE in the needed tense, e.g. in this case the phrase "Last year" shows the tense we should use, i.e., past simple.
 Hope I ve helped you,
