							| what to write on the website...?
 |
							| Hi there everone, Wish you all a smooth start of the week,   I wonder of anyone could help me.The thing is our school is going to open a website and we were asked to write an introduction on the English department page.I wanted to include smth original(maybe a story, a proverb or even some joke) instead of a formal introduction of the English language. Any ideas...? | 28 Mar 2011

							| Why don t you talk about feral kids? I think it s a very fascinating topic and  illustrates how language is a social part of the development of a child. There are many interesting cases e.g Genie case and Kaspar Hauser. | 28 Mar 2011

							| I always seem to find the right expression when I look in the book of GROOKS by Piet Hein. Here s one that may be suitable to those studying English:

 Put up in a place where it s easy to see;
 The cryptic admonishment
 T T T .
 When you feel how depressingly slowly you climb,
 It s well (good) to remember:
 Things Take Time
