Merry Christmas to all of you and many thanks for having made me a premium member!
I have been correcting my pupils� tests and one of them wrote: "Parents cannot forbid us to go to computer" - I think he means : "use the computer" Anyway would you accept as correct : "to go to the computer"?

I would use on the computer. On is used for on the computer, on the radio, on television.
