Thanks, Korodi4 for reminding about this holiday. Wish to have known about it earlier to mention about it at work. Great achievement of Yurii Gagarin it was 50 years ago. Even in Kennedy Space center the movie pictures the Russian astronauts, voiced by Tom Cruise.:) |

Thanks a lot Korodi4! And congratulation to all the people of the world especially to people from the former Soviet Union! It was really a great day in the history of our country!
And Yuri Gagarin was our hero. When I was a child all my friends wanted to be a cosmonaut (astronaut), and me too. 
Yesterday we had some great documentaries on TV about the first group of 20 cosmonauts trained for the firs flight to space. And I got to know so many new facts that were kept sectet for a long time.
