Hello everyone...

I have some doubts with the meaning of some parts of the lyrics of this song...
Maybe native speakers can explain this to me?
"You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You �re faking a smile with the coffee you go
You tell me your life �s been way off line"

"I don �t need no carryin � on"
"You sing a sad song just to turn it around"
"Sometimes the system goes on the blink"

"you need a blue sky holiday"


Does anyone already have a worksheet on the song "You had a bad day," I could download from you?

I �m preparing some activities with the video but thought I might save time if I find something more.

Here is some more info to help explain it.
 
 
Hit a new low = the person has sunk to a lower level of feeling down, sad or depressed
 
Life�s been way off line - life has not been going as they would have liked it to go, usually in the negative so this person has been telling the singer that he/she has been having bad luck and sad times
 
I don�t need no carrying on - the singer doesn�t want to hear anymore about it, he/she has heard enough
 
... goes on the blink - does not work (like my brain at the moment - lol)
