							| Hi everybody!             I ve just read this sentence which has puzzled me: "The office is in Hanover Square, at Hanover Square to be exact". Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Thanks in advance. | 11 May 2011

							| Hanover Square is a street,(see bottom of map)  but there was an original building called Hanover Square.   So it is in Hanover Square (street)  at Hanover Square (particular building) ( same format as: in Oxford Street, at number 25) | 11 May 2011

							| We use in with streets and squares in British English, but on in American English. But if there ia a number of the housse (that is it is an adress) the preposition is at.

E.g. In Hanover Str.        In Oxford Circus But  at 25 Hanover Str.        at 2 Oxford Circus      | 11 May 2011
