							| Hello there.  For me, the two sentences are not quite the same. 1)  He is good.     The boy is always well-behaved, it �s part of his character. 2)  He is being good.      The boy is behaving well at the moment, but this isn �t necessarily   always the case.  The use of the continuous present here indicates that we are talking about an action which is happening right now.   Hope this helps. |  23 May 2011

 1. He is good: means he is a nice person or could it mean that he is good in what he does.
 
 2. He is being good: means the person is behaving well at that time, he probably does not behave like that in some other time.
