							| intact and whole
 |
							| Hi everybody! I need your help once more. In one of the questions about a text whose title is "Defining The Obama Doctrine" we are asked to find a synonym for whole. Reading the text the only option I can find is intact, but the sentence reads: "but Sush s policies remain intact", is it possible to say "remain whole"? It sounds strange to me.     Thanks in advance. | 27 May 2011

							| Sounds good to me. Remain intact, whole, unchanged, remain in place etc. are all (quasi-) synonyms. | 27 May 2011
