If anyone is interested, the 9th International Linguistics Olympiad is taking place in Pittsburgh (USA) in July. Don �t let the name put you off: these are actually "contests for high school students that exercise skills in logical and analytical thinking using linguistic data". The puzzles require no previous knowledge of languages or linguistics and can be accessed in several languages.

By the way, I �m still dithering on �Easy Problems �. I �m blaming the glare from the monitor for my brain-numbing headache, so I �ve downloaded and printed them and promised myself I �ll finish them later...
