							| improbably golden
 |
							| Dear Esl teachers,

I ve read a sentence that I couldn t understand fully. It says: " she asked me running her fingers through hair which was improbably golden."

I don t understand the blue part. If the hair is not golden , so why to mentions this color specifically? I believe there s a certain meaning that I can t get. Can anybody help me?

 Thanks in advance

							| Her hair had such a golden shade that he (or whoever is narrating the story) couldn t believe his own eyes because it was something you wouldn t expect the hair look like:) Sophia | 13 Jul 2011

							| The implied word here is "natuarlly". It is improbable that it is naturally golden.   Bruce | 13 Jul 2011

							| Yes, chud, but it would mean that her hair was so golden that it was difficult to believe that color was possible, but wouldn t be implying that it wasn t natural.   Bruce | 13 Jul 2011

							| So I think that the writer here may mean that she wears a wig or died her hair?
