							| As a patient you ARE in therapy (as the therapy in question is a psycho type) E. g. She is in therapy.  They ve been in therapy for months. You can also undergo (Br E) all sorts of therapy, you can receive/have physiotherapy. My guess you can apply receive/have to other therapies too. Anyway, it s always nice to have a 2nd or 3rd opinion:) Sophia | 27 Jul 2011

							| I ve undergone physical therapy and have been told more than once that I should undergo psychological therapy or be in therapy or should ve received therapy loooong before now. But I haven t been in therapy yet. In other words I can be in therapy, receive therapy or undergo therapy. | 27 Jul 2011

							| From the patients perspective, the common phrasing is "take therapy" or "go to therapy." You might also hear people say things like "Im doing therapy," especially when referring to actively engaging in the process. physical therapy Studio City Both are acceptable depending on the context, but "taking" or "going to" tends to be more common. | 21 Feb 2025
