							| Degrees Fahrenheit
 |
							| What is the correct way of giving a temperature? What do you say?
 1. ... degrees Fahrenheit  OR
 2. ... Fahrenheit degrees (like in the song by Suzanne Vega (99.9 Fahrenheit degrees)

Just in case: Is that the same for C ?

A student asked my that yesterday, but I have only ever heard the first version used.

 Thanks for your help!
 Mietz

							| Thanks at Amy and Les!
 That s what I thought.
So why does Suzanne Vega sing "Fahrenheit degrees"? Any suggestions on that one?

 See you around.

							| Hello Cat. It s called poetic license. I m not familiar with the song but it probably sounds better with the words in that order. | 30 Jul 2011

							| "THE LOLLIPOP
LADY" Who is The Lollipop Lady?   I wish I knew! Or rather: I dont care. What is The Lollipop Lady?    An excuse to miss a date. Why is The Lollipop Lady?      There no reason for her to be. When is The Lollipop Lady?     I dont have the timetable with me. Where is The Lollipop Lady?     Somewhere. She wouldnt tell me.  How is The Lollipop Lady?      Sour or sweet! Both!... | 30 Jul 2011
