							| I agree with Douglas. If it is a test then it is either a quiz, test,or exam. 
 Quizzes are shorter and do not count as heavily as a test.
 A test can be a chapter test, a weekly spelling or vocabulary test.
 Exams are longer and more comprehensive like a midterm exam, final exam.

							| Personally, I �d agree with Douglas if it �s a simple practice test on the elements of a particular unit, for example, before the real thing and also go with lango and use the term  �mock exam � if it �s also a way of improving exam technique. As Linda suggests, they �re both  �formative � anyway.
