							| Yes, it would be pronounced twelve twelve. Most dates in English split the first 2 numbers and the last 2 numbers. So 1314 would be thirteen fourteen. |  19 Sep 2011

							| You can your students they can choose between the most formal (traditional) version:one thousand two hundred twelve or in a  coloquial way twelve twelve. Personally I would go for the first one when writing and for the second when speaking.Hope it helps!   |  19 Sep 2011
