							| Hello Nikolai, I �m a native English speaker and I can tell you  that we don �t normally say  �the turn is hers � in everyday speech. The most common use of mine/his/yours/theirs etc is, for example: "Whose is this pen?" "It �s mine/hers/his." The structure you give is more familiar in formal English eg the fault is theirs, and there are some fixed phrases like "The pleasure is all mine."  Hope this helps. |  14 Oct 2011
