Hello!
I �m not sure about the preposition. Do we say: "you can see me on this photo" or "... in this photo"?

I would say "ON" the photo as the photo is not a volume. |

The correct way to say it is:
�In the photo � / �In the picture �
Theonly time we would say �on the picture� is if it was scratched or marked. Who spilled water on the picture?
There is a stain on the picture - because this is something added and not part of the picture itself.
Idiom: Put me in the picture: I want to be informed about or be involved in a particular situation or activity. |

one meaning of "on" is attached likewise the usage of "in" is little different. you can use it in following words. in the picture,class,taxi,book,paper,building town,street now read this example and feel the difference
the picture is on the wall and u see i am also in this picture. |
