							| Is there a difference?
 |
							| Hi, I hope you re having a great day. I was wondering if you could help me with something.   Is there a difference between these two senteces?   1. You can have someone fix your bike. 2. You can get someone to fix your bike.   I just can t say if the meanings are different. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.   Bere     | 1 Nov 2011

GET...."To get someone to do something" suggests that you talked to the person and convinced him/her to do something.
HAVE..."To have someone do something" simply states that you arranged for
someone to do something, whether or not that person did it voluntarily.
