							| Hi :)!   Singular nouns ending in -s  take   s . Other examples are:  an actress s career, the waitress s tray.   Regards!   Jor | 3 Dec 2011

							| Jor is correct. All singular nouns take s, including those that end in s (contrary to what many people believe). It s a very simple rule, but many people want to make it complicated. Also, in English it s called the possessive case, not genitive.   Bruce | 3 Dec 2011

							| there is an exception though, isn t it?
how about: in Jesus name... is it with ( ) apostrophe or without it?
... in JESUS name   or ... in Jesus name... somehow, the second looks better :) | 3 Dec 2011

							| Some people use only the apostrophe on Biblical names that end with s (Jesus, Moses, etc.). Others stick with the "one size fits all" rule of   s  for every singular noun. Both are accepted.   Bruce | 4 Dec 2011
