							| Good day/night!! It s taken from the song "Jesus doesn t want me for a sunbeam" (Nirvana) Jesus don t want me for a sunbeam
Sunbeams are not made like me
Don t expect me to cry
For all the reasons you had to die
Don t ever ask your love of me

Don t expect me to cry, don t expect me to lie
Don t expect me to die for thee

Don t expect me to cry, don t expect me to lie
Don t expect me to die, don t expect me to cry
Don t expect me to lie, don t expect me to die for thee

Does it mean "Don t ever ask me to love you the way you love me"?

							| Sounds more like he is singing that he is not one that is going to be a "good Christian" so don t ask him to cry about Christ s actions nor babble religious dogma (which he believes to include lies).   He is not a "shiny (sunbeam) Christian" that runs around happy and beaming while preaching thier doctrine, so don t ask him to be one.   Douglas   Edit: read the comments here (they kind of say the same thing:   | 12 Dec 2011
