The "only this sellection" option doesn�t work (maybe it�s a bad translation, in spanish it says "only this section")

But "Only the front page option" does work.

So if you want the border only on the front page:

Select "Format" / "Borders and shading"

On the second tab ("Page Border") �You should see a "Apply to" option:

Select the one you want.
