							| Dear friends,   Im teaching school facilities and I can t remember what they call the place where teachers and students have documents reproduced. I d like the term in British English, please. Can you help me? Thank you all in advance. | 8 Jan 2012

							| Are you thinking of the copy room - I think that is what I would call it, altho it does sound a bit American, probably because we didn t have such things in my day! | 8 Jan 2012

							| Nowadays many teachers have to make their own copies and they do this using a photocopier.  If it is in a special room it might be called the photocopying room but in my experience it is usually in a corner of a larger room such as a resource room.  The school library usually has a photocopier for student use although these days they are called MFD s (multi functional devices) as they serve as printers and scanners.   I think the American word for photocopier is Xerox or Xerox machine.   | 8 Jan 2012
