Dear Colleagues.
I was very moved by the discussion yesterday about war and peace.
I�m not writing here to bring it up again, but would like to share with you
a song I wrote the lyrics to in 2003. It�s called Children First and was written for UNICEF.
It is recorded by, among others, 2 children�s choirs and the actor Antonio Banderas, who is an ambassador for UNICEF.
What I fear most in this world of discontent, is that often "grown-ups" forget the impact war has on children.

I�ve just logged in and the first thing I did was to read the lyrics of the song you wrote 
I was impressed and deeply touched. Impressed because you are a wonderful writer. From the posts in the forum we could see that you have an easy wasy with words but I had no idea with could write such beautiful poems, because beauty, art is what we�re talking about here. Deeply touched, because the poem has such a beautiful message said in such beautiful words and touched, ultimately, by your sensitivity.
