							| Hello! I m not sure if the position of "also" is acceptable in this sentence: "I don t like my job, but I also do not know exactly what I would like to be." I would write the sentence without "also". What do you think?   Thanks in advance.   Dina   | 29 Jan 2012

							| Also is used to link similar ideas while but is used to contrast ideas. Also is more formal than too. If you want to rephrase it, you might consider the following:I don t like my job and I don t know exactly what I would like to be either. I don t like my job. Also, I don t know exactly what I would like to be. Sophia | 29 Jan 2012

							| I think it sounds best with just "but".   I don t like my job, but I don t know exactly what I would like to be.   Bruce | 29 Jan 2012
