							| I ´d go with Lynne (cunliffe)  - mainly because of the presence of ´of . It ´s a sort of oblique genitive, but I think your doubts may be due as much to L2 interference (think Spanish, Catalan or even French here) as mother-tongue .
By the way, my wife adores Adele too, but I ´m definitely not a big fan. | 5 Feb 2012

							| Thanks folks
At the risk of being lynched I think Adele ´s rather overrated, and definitely overplayed on the radio!  overhyped just like Dido was. : )

							| To Jayho - Adele is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYEDA3JcQqw
BTW: "This is called the post-genitive or double genitive."
The postmodifier must be definite and human: the friend of yours, the bag of mine, the crime of hers, the name of yours, a dream of hers, a fan of yours, each songo of yours, the song of Mark´s, the story of Ian´s...
 http://grammar.about.com/od/grammarfaq/f/FAQdoublegenitive.htm
The most frequent example is: a friend of mine, a colleague of yours, the son of hers.

							| Nika, interestingly, the term ´double negative has been dropped by some modern grammarians in favour of ´oblique genitive because of in itself is not regarded as a genitive case marker (but is often understood as such especially by analogy with other languages - which kinda takes us back to the start of this thread...).
By the way, not too sure of the son of hers as a ´frequent example . That son of hers..., maybe. | 6 Feb 2012

							| Alas, I didn ´t have time to google GP - I had to get to work.   While blissfully rolling in the dark depths of Adele-ignorance Nika and Sophia gallantly came to the rescue from a possible public lynching and provided a link to Adele ´s Rolling in the Deep.   Know I know - thanks.  But now, who is Dido??     | 6 Feb 2012
