							| There are various approaches that can be communicative, read Celce-Murcia or Herrera & Murry. They have pretty nice and comprehensive overviews of various theories.

							| Task-based instruction as proposed by Skehan and Ellis: these are the characteristics: 
 Skehan (1996a)
 1. Meaning is primary
 2. There is some sort of relationship to the real world.
 3. Task completion has some priority
 4. The assessment of the task performance is in terms of task outcome.
 
 There are lots of definitions for "task-based instruction".
 
 I suggest you to read "Task-Based Language Learning and Teaching" by Rod Ellis. If you want some journals, give me your email and I can give it to you.
