Thanks for your link to the e-mails Douglas.
You did better than me - I found zilch which surprises me given that e-mail communication has been around for a good while now. Oxford Univeristy Press has a book (Writing in the Real World) which has some, and there are a few on this site, but I will also use the link you gave and compile some questions.
