							| do your homework/(British English) revision (uncountable)/a project on something  BUT, when countable, make revisions: e. g. He made some minor revisions to the report before printing it out. Sophia | 8 Mar 2012

							| Sophia is right, but when it comes to revising for a test, we would tend to stick with the verb I m off to revise or you can use do, I m doing some revision. | 8 Mar 2012

							| Just recently I ve come across with it in a textbook: - Shall we go out tonight? - I m afraid I can t, I m revising for a math test.
But at the beginning of the lesson when I tell my ss what we re going to do, I usually say smth like, "Today we finish talking about ... We re going to... and we ll do the revision for Unit 7" Sophia | 8 Mar 2012
