							| Hop, Jump, Skip
 |
							| My English Panel has asked me the difference between these three words.  To me "hop" means a little jump or hop on one foot.  "Jump" means to jumo from both feet higher.  "Skip" means to only have one foot on the ground as you skip along with joy.   Is there a difference between American and British English on this? Can anyone help?   Thanks. | 22 Mar 2012
