							| It depends on the verb. If someone says I am happy , the response given in agreement is So am I .
And if someone says I like pizza , the reply should be So do I .

 similary,
I have done it        -       So have I

But I have a book takes So do I and So have I

 Hope this helps.

							| if in your first sentence, you use an auxiliary, you use the same auxiliary for the short answer. So, as you said, "i am happy" -> "so am I" So, now, it depends how you consider "i have" in your sentence In my school (where we learn GB english), the opposite is "i haven t", that implies it s an auxiliary, and we use "so have I/ neither have I". Nevertheless, in the united states and other places too, it s "i don t have" -> "So do I/neither do I".
 I hope it s clear :s..... | 15 Apr 2012
