							| My suggestion is   " Yes, there have been problems but as weeks go by I hope things would improve.   or     " Yes , there have been problems but as weeks go by I am hoping things would improve"   ( If you use "hoped" then the situation is no longer true at the moment and this confuses with " have been" which is present perfect and shows that the situation has some connection to the presnt. So the "hope" has to be in simple present tense or present continous |  15 Apr 2012
