							| I am a bit confused. I have come across two sentences that mean the same but I do not know whether they are grammatically corect.   He jumped out of a plane   vs.   He jumped from a plane   Which sentence above is correct? Or maybe both sentences are right?     | 17 Apr 2012

							| He jumped out of the plane. - A person was inside a plane and jumped out of it.
He jumped from the plane. - A person was on top of the plane, maybe a wing, and jumped from it.
So it doesnt mean exactly the same thing. | 17 Apr 2012

							| Both correct. And btw, miss K., "to jump from a plane" could mean to jump with a parachute, so, one has to be inside the plane to jump with a parachute. Sophia | 17 Apr 2012
