							| "Shotgun approach" ?
 |
							| Hi! A friend asked me to help out with the phrase "shotgun approach" but I wasn t able to. She couldn t remember the context in which she saw it, but she said it was used to describe a person. ( ) Could any of you tell me if you ve heard it before? Thanks!  | 20 Apr 2012

							| These links are good. The business one states that shotgun approach is where you aim to cover the widest area possible. But I would say, if you are just talking informally about somebody s general approach, you mean that she reaches decisions too quickly, everything has to be done yesterday. The only time we tend to use shotgun as an adjective is with shotgun wedding , which doesn t mean a forced marriage, it means one that has to happen straight away. | 21 Apr 2012
