 |
							| Could anyone tell me the meaning of this expression? Does it mean that we are working? Does anyone know how to translate it into Spanish? | 27 Apr 2012

							| It would really depend where you find the notice..... I am a native speaker from South Africa and there it would usually be found at the entrance to a church, thus meaning " Silence - church service in progress",  ie be quiet during the mass.
I have seen it used in a comic way in certain offices, as a play on the word "service", but it is VERY idiomatic! Hope this helps.....Sorry, I couldn t translate it to Spanish though!
