							| destroy/ ruin
 |
							| I have a quick question about one action in English.   Imagine a teacher handing out books/ bingo sheets (cards). I want my students to give the books/ cards back at the end of the lesson so I ask them not to destroy them. I want the books/ cards look new when they come back to me. Is "destroy" the correct word?  It doesn t  sound right to me. .. | 22 May 2012

							| Spoil is a better. Destroy is a bit strong. Or,  Don t write on your cards. Don t mess your cards up. Hand your cards back as good as new, please. | 22 May 2012
