 1-She went walking on moors , or driving to see her parents .
 2-She went walking on moors , or drove to see her parents .
 3-She went walking on moors or driving to see her parents .

							| This is not that easy! They all sound a bit odd. I �d go for No.2, but I would prefer, in the case of repeated action,  �she used to... � A better rendition is  �She used to go walking on the moors, or she would drive to her parents �. �  Parents � meaning to their house.

							| I agree with cunliffe, they just don�t sound right,   She went walking on the moors, and then drove to see her parents.   She either went walking on the moors or drove to see her parents.   Sorry, I�m still confused, |  22 May 2012
