NOR works as Adverb

I know that NOR works as a conjunction, which connects two independent sentences/ phrases. This morning my student asked me a question that I couldn �t answer : "can NOR work as adverb? for example, NOR, ..." I did google it, but I found nothing. Can anybody here help me please? Thank you.

If you look here, it does say it �s a conjunction and an adverb (look at the right side) However, I don�t think it�s used the way you�ve mentioned (at least from what I assume you meant bc you din�t give a lot of context:) Sophia
