							| This excellent  site can help you design interesting lessons according to your Ss level. This one offers a lot of videos which learners can use to build their vocab and improve their pronunciation.   Greetings from Greece, | 23 Jun 2012

							| Hi Alvarite   If your students want functionally based lessons I recommend you follow the appropriate level in this syllabus.  If they want topic based lessons then perhaps use a site such as this .  Cheers   Jayho  | 23 Jun 2012

							| They may just want to speak, but they must accept some input - a bit of reading to talk about, or a film to discuss. For my speaking classes, we generally read a story and then I make a ppt or provide some pictures with the main events and  we use that for a re-tell, using the wh- question words.
You can also do role play activities - give out cue cards for conversation - at the cafe or whatever. You are the bartender, your student is the customer.
For starter speaking activities, I ve been using images from this great site (I think it was posted by papadeli)  http://digital.library.pitt.edu/v/visuals/   Go down to Browse the collection. Lots of them promote conversation - what s she doing there? Why is she running? What will she do later etc.

							| Hi, this site isn t free,  (about $22 US for one year), but you will find the worksheets on the site perfect for teaching adults. I teach many adult groups, and I use the site a lot.   handoutsonline.com    Good luck! | 24 Jun 2012
