							| The adjective "indebted..."
 |
							| Hello!
Could you please tell me if the use of the preposition "with" with the adjective "indebted" is acceptable in the following sentence:
"I have to pay all that I m indebted with to the bank very soon."
When I consulted my dictionary, I found that I can say "... indebted to sb" or "... indebted for sth". But I still feel that the structure above does make sense.   | 6 Jul 2012

							| You are "indebted to somebody" , not "with" | 6 Jul 2012

							| In debt to and Indebted to have different meanings. In the first one, you owe something and in the second, you are grateful to someone.
Your sentence would be better reading I have to pay all that I owe to the bank very soon. or better I have to pay the bank everything I owe very soon.   | 6 Jul 2012
