							| Calling all Irish English Teachers
 |
							| Hi People! I was just wondering if there were English words or variations used more in Ireland than by their British, American Australian etc. cousins? I know a fair bit about the grammar differences and some of the Irish (Gaelic) words but I ve also heard words that seem to be used more by the Irish than by my lot. With Brit and American English it s quite clear; cookie, biscuit, chips, fries etc. Any ideas? | 23 Jul 2012
