							| It probably comes from a sub-genre of jazz called swing music. It was quite popular in the late 1930 �s and  �40 �s, and had a brief resurgence in the late 1990 �s. Swing music is fast and upbeat, perfect for parties. It �s one of my favorite styles of music (even though I �m not quite 50 yet). |  2 Sep 2012
