							| worksheets removed

							| I m completely shocked with the fact that my worksheets are often removed because of the pictures. I usually search them in google. I don t know if they can be used or not.  There s nothing there that tells me they can t be copied. I spend hours doing my worksheets  and then they are simply removed.    THIS IS REALLY UNFAIR. It S THE CONTENT THAT MATTER. AT LEAST WE SHOULD KEEP OUR POINTS. Roberta55  | 6 Sep 2012

							| Dear Roberta,
I didn t report any of your ws or ppts. But as a moderator all I can tell you is that this type of images are not allowed here:

if this is not the case..... Then I suggest you contact Victor Gayol - the webmaster -  and explain your situation. Best wishes, ascincoquinas | 6 Sep 2012

							| Looking for pictures on Google does not guarantee you the rights to use them.
What you can do however, is make a research on google in the images section of google. On the right of the page there is a an icon that looks like a wheel. Click on it and select "Advanced Search".  The last item on that page is "usage rights".  If you select the free to use, share tab in the scrolling menu, google will make a search of pictures that you are allowed to use for your worksheets here.

							| FYI:  "Watermarked" means there is something in the picture that identfies where it came from/belongs to (like the copyright symbol in the picture above)--which is a way the owner identifies that you have to have special permission to use it. | 7 Sep 2012

							| This is TOTALLY FAIR if you keep infringing the site s rules which are there to read and follow. You wouldn t want your favourite site to have to face a lawsuit bc of the images you used, would you? If you use cliparts which are not watermarked/copyrighted from the links that Michaela suggested, no one will ever report your work. You can change the images in your ws which had been removed and reupload them and you ll be able to get new points for them:) Sophia | 7 Sep 2012

							| The same happened to me. A worksheet that I uploaded months ago was removed yesterday because of the picture. I got more than 100 points for it! Read the copyright licence before using a picture. That I do now, really! Have a nice weekend. And don t be so sad, it happens from time to time.
