							| Printables for adults
 |
							| Hi!

This week I am going to start teaching adults. I taught only children so far, that is why I am a little bit nervous. Could you recommend me some websites like ESL printables but for adults???? I will be very grateful for any hints and clues. Have a good day  | 13 Sep 2012

							| Hi!
I don t know what level your students will be, but I post adults printables every now and then (advanced level, good even for teachers sometimes ;) ), and I know that some other users upload different materials for adults too.  I don t know any other site, but I recommend digging in this one first :).
 Good luck! K. | 13 Sep 2012

							| I have always taught adults and only recently started using ESL printables because i m doing some lesson with children.   In my opinion you don t need as many worksheets with adults, you can improvise a lot more, use target language and elicit through conversation. Most times with adults if you give them too much to read and write they don t speak as much, which is what they need most to learn the language, they re not as flexible as children    try to see what topics they re interested in and then create lesson plans with the target language based around that topic... i have done entire lessons with women on "what s...like?" and comparatives/superlatives based around Brad Pitt, very amusing. | 13 Sep 2012

							| I agree that a lot of the material is child-oriented, but there are works for adults, too. I also teach adults exclusively, and I love this site. I am not the most prolific poster, but most of my worksheets and presentations are adult-oriented (no, I don t mean porn; get your head out of the gutter!)   Most of the worksheets are fully editable, so you can remove inappropriate pictures such as the Smurfs or the Disney Princesses and simply use the text. It s still faster than doing a worksheet from scratch. | 13 Sep 2012

							| hi, google workpages for adult learners and you might find subjects which are relevant. Enjoy teaching your adult group, usually it is a lot of fun! | 13 Sep 2012

							| Some of mine can also be used for adults. I think there is loads of stuff here that can be used for adults... It s just a pity we don t have age categories between 14 and 100 :)
