							| Comparing laws and customs of different nations is fun and educational here - what is normal in one country, and strange in another.... food customs, traditions of behaviour and address, holidays, etc. It is rather prejudiced at times, but that can be an additional topic to deal with. E.g. If you are 18 in Croatia, you can vote. If you are in he USA, you can vote when you re 21. etc. There are funny texts on the internet about unusual customs and laws in countries, you will probably have no problems finding them. Correcting student bloopers about the laws of physics can also be fun. My teenage students used the zero to write about their parents rules. e. g.  In my house, if you come home with an F, you get grounded for a week. | 24 Sep 2012
