 |
							| Hello!
Is it acceptable to say "Im looking for work as a waiter"? or is it better "Im looking for a job as a waiter"?

 Thanks in advance

							| We do have the expression "I m looking for work" as a general statement of needing a job, but not with a specific job. As the others said, "I m looking for a job as a waiter" is definitely correct. The other options they gave are also correct.   Bruce | 13 Nov 2012
